Introduction to Digital Accessibility Seminar
This non-technical seminar provides a comprehensive introduction to web accessibility and online documents, with demonstrations of how people with disability access digital information. It explains legal obligations, gives an overview of WCAG 2.1 and highlights the business and financial benefits of creating accessible content.
Accessible Communications and Marketing
Learn how to create accessible online web content, social media, emails, video and audio, and marketing. We’ll demonstrate solutions to achieve WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance, as well as usability and accessibility best practices gathered through our research and user testing across various disability groups.

Advanced Creating Accessible Documents –Microsoft Office
Learn how to create accessible Word documents, Excel workbooks, PowerPoint presentations and Outlook emails. Suitable for anyone who uses Microsoft Office, we’ll teach you the benefits of accessibility and how to ensure your digital communications are accessible to everyone. Plus, participants will gain free access to our Document Accessibility Toolbar (DAT) eLearning module.

Advanced Creating Accessible Documents – Adobe PDF
Learn how to edit and verify accessible PDF files using Acrobat Pro DC. We’ll show you advanced accessibility techniques to remediate PDF documents, without the need for a source file. On completion of the workshop, you’ll know how to create PDFs that are accessible to everyone.

Learning DAT 101
Learn how to use Vision Australia’s free Document Accessibility Toolbar (DAT) for Microsoft Word effectively with the DAT 101: Everyday Document Accessibility eLearning course. This course drives accessibility awareness throughout an organisation by increasing everyone’s understanding of accessibility, and providing step-by-step guidance on how to efficiently use the key functions within the DAT to make Word documents accessible.
Assistive Technology Training
A unique opportunity for web and software developers/testers to understand how people who have vision loss use assistive technologies on desktop and mobile devices.
Participants will interact with and validate the accessibility of standard and dynamic functionality on their website using JAWS, VoiceOver, NVDA and ZoomText.
