Regular eye checks prevent glaucoma
Glaucoma is one of the main causes of vision loss in Australia. Vision Australia helps people with glaucoma to increase their independence.

Seventy-seven year old Jeff has macular degeneration. He is joined by 300,000 Australians who are blind or have low vision. And this figure is set to double by 2020.
We urgently need to raise $660,000 to meet the growing demand for our free programs and help people like Jeff to maintain their independence.
Government websites set to become more accessible
The Australian Government has formally endorsed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.0.
This marks a positive step towards the accessibility of government websites for all Australians and will bring Australia in line with international approaches to make the internet more accessible.
